REVIEW BY RICHARD BASCO BELOW

Skalion is a collective electronic hivemind whose main goal is to control. Skalion, a mythical being from the Carbon Universe, born from the lungs of the Devil, they have recently become interested in a new entity to control: Earth. They've invaded in many forms, glitching tvs, melting computers, and electric shocking.

For quite long years, they have rested, destroying other worlds by tinkering with technology that the entities have desired, ultimately destroying their resources leaving them to rot. Now, they have begun to invade the planet Earth, through what you may ask? Music. They have started to begin to take contact with the Earth, by means of long droning and eroded messages, extracted from the essence of the humans, often interfering with radio waves. These occurances have been documented before, with the release of "The Conet Project". Now, they've resurged once again, utilizing internet culture to hypnotize. Using bits and relics of popular music, Skalion are using Trap and Dance-like rhythms and sounds to rot brains, manipulating the world through the crushed tones and unfilled waves, their plan for flattening Earth is coming into fruition once again.

"Steven Tillop, aka "Fish", and Daniel Peslin, aka "Danny P", have teamed up with bonkoloid, credited as "BNK", to create an ambient piece retaliating against the controlling and robotic nature of the world, all the while having an artistic vision of a "superflat" world. What started as a bet from BNK's friends to create a HexD ambient album, he collaborated with his two friends to mesh trance, soundcloud rap, cloud rap, trap, and boom bap to create an album that reveals facades. The revelation of the facade of the robotic industry, combining terribly-produced cloud rap beats and well-known rap vocals with hints of trance to create, essentially, a compressed version of the industry at large." - Richard Basco
